For visitors arriving by car, there is free parking directly at the fort.

The museum is easily accessible by bike through the dunes. Bicycles can be safely parked in the bike racks outside the fort walls.

From Den Helder Station, a bus runs every hour to Fort Kijkduin. Please check the current timetable for more information.

Fort Kijkduin is wheelchair and stroller accessible. The fort is equipped with a lift.

Dogs and other pets are not allowed in the fort or on the terrace. Service dogs are welcome and may enter the fort.
