We are looking for a temporary marketing and communications expert!

As a Marketing and Communications Officer at Stichting Erfgoed Den Helder, you will be responsible for implementing various marketing and communication strategies. You will create engaging content, manage social media channels and websites, and collaborate with different departments to bring the heritage of Den Helder to a broad audience.

What will you do?

• You will work for different branches of Stichting Erfgoed Den Helder, including Fort Kijkduin, the Atlantikwall Centrum, and Willemsoord.
• Manage and optimize our social media channels, websites, and online listings, including online content planning.
• Assess and improve online visibility and online advertising campaigns.
• Help develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotional activities for exhibitions, events, and educational programs.
• Create compelling content for various communication channels.
• Contribute to the development of promotional materials such as flyers, posters, and advertisements.
• Collaborate with Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs) and other relevant networks.
• Develop and write content for the internal newsletter.

Who are we looking for?

• You have a completed MBO or HBO degree in marketing, communication, or a related field.
• You have some experience in marketing and communication, preferably in the cultural sector or museum world.
• You have a passion for heritage, art, and culture and can convey this in an inspiring way.
• You possess excellent writing skills.
• You have experience managing various social media platforms and know how to stimulate online interaction.
• You have knowledge of graphic design and content management systems for websites, such as WordPress.
• You are creative, independent, and work well in a team.
